I just got reports that the former minister — Dora Akunyili has to be flown abroad as her health worsens.
Efforts are currently being made by officials of the foreign affairs ministry to secure an Indian visa for her as soon as possible because her doctor says any delay might be risky.
It will be recalled that Mrs Akunyili has been sick for a while, but showed up at the on-going conference in Abuja where she thanked those who stood by her and said she was getting better.
I remember speaking to a friend on this issue and he told me that it's the handwork of evil people whose businesses the former NAFDAC DG shut down.
