INI-EDO'S MARRIAGE IN TROUBLE AS Husband Citizenship Revoked

by Obeji Eric  |  in NEWS at  16:56:00

Change is said to be the only thing constant and this period seems not to be the best of times for Iniobong Edo-Ehiagwina, whose fortune seems to have taken a downward course. The dark-skinned actress has fallen out of favour with movie marketers over the allegation that she is pompous and undisciplined, which is the reason she has not been getting roles in movies as she used to get some time back, while an actress like Mercy Johnson has her hands full even when she’s still nursing her baby.

Girl Killed by Train During Heated Argument With Her Father

by Obeji Eric  |  in Music at  22:30:00
Brittney Silva was tragically hit and killed by an Amtrak train as she walked on train tracks near her home in San Leandro, California. Brittney was talking on her cell phone when this horrible accident occurred at Hesperian Boulevard at 5:55 on Monday evening. An eyewitness attempted to warn her but she could not hear because she had ear buds in both of her ears.
Brittney had been using her earphones while engaging in a heated argument with her father as she walked on the tracks toward home. She was no stranger to the danger that could occur on train tracks because the Amtrak trains passed by her home every day. According to Brian Crist, her stepfather, the teen was distracted and upset. She had gotten lost in the escalated conversation.
Witnesses told police that the crossing arms of the railroad had functioned properly at the time the accident took place. The southbound Capitol Corridor train stopped several hundred yards after hitting the girl and none of the 83 passengers aboard the train were hurt. Brittney’s body was found 50 yards south of the tracks. The pink phone her stepfather had bought her was found close by.
Cynthia Silva, Brittney’s mother, said she has told her children over and over again to keep one ear bud in and one out so that they can hear what is going on around them. Cynthia said this goes for all of the kids out there walking down the street either talking on the phone or listening to music. She believes if her daughter had listened and did what she said, she would have heard the train coming down the tracks.
The teen’s younger sister, Melody, said everyone loved Brittney. She was very nice, respectful and always gave her Girl Killed by Train During Heated Argument With Her Fathergreat

Davido’s ‘Aye’ most watched video on YouTube

by Obeji Eric  |  in Music at  11:52:00

The music video ‘Áye’ by popular Nigeria artiste,
Davido tops the list of the most watched video on
video-sharing website, Youtube for the first quarter
of 2014.
The video, directed by top Nigerian video director
Clarence Peters, generated over 300, 000 views in
the first week alone- proof that Nigerians still love
music as much as ever. Also on the list are the
videos of Tuface Idibia’s 2012 single ‘Rainbow’ and
Flavour N’abania ‘Ikwokrikwo’ video, which featured
2013 Big Brother Africa winner, Dilish Matthews.
However, while music remains a big passion for
many, Comedy skits are gradually finding their
place into Nigerians’ playlists. For the first time
since YouTube was officially launched in Nigeria,
the top 10 most-viewed list has more comedy-
skits than musical videos.
Topping the list of most watched comedy videos is
the Deliverance skit featuring AY and Helen Paul.
The video, which generated almost 300, 000 views
in the first month, was published by AY’s AYTV.
Other comedy videos that made it to the list include
‘Maga don Pay’ and ‘The Affair’ (both by Bovi) and
the hilarious phone conversation between Uche the
Etisalat Customer Care executive and the wife of a
customer.
Globally, some of the biggest stars on YouTube are
animals and pets. From hilarious videos of cats
pretending to be dead, to those of dogs taking care
of babies and elephants overturning cars,
YouTubers around the world cannot have enough of
the wonders of the animal kingdom. Nigerians seem
to be catching this bug. An incredible video of a
snake devouring a crocodile after a 5 hour battle
generated over 24 Million views in its first 30 days
with significant views from Nigeria included!
The list wouldn’t have been complete without the
occasional national interest-type videos that many
seem to love. The Boko Haram Confession &
Deliverance shared by Synagogue of All Nation’s
Emmanuel TV is one of these. The over 200
comments shows how much interest this video is
generating.

THE SCHOOL CALLED MARRIAGE.

by Obeji Eric  |  in Music at  02:38:00
Marriage is the only school where u get the Certificate before you start. It's also a school where you will never graduate. It's a school without a break or a free period. It's a school where no one is allowed to drop out. It's a school you will have to attend every day of your life. It's a school where there is no sick leave or holidays. It's a school founded by God: Be reminded that you are just a student not the principal. God is the only Principal. Even in times of storms, don't be unwise and run outside. Keep in mind that, this school is the safest place to be. Never go to sleep before completing your assignments for the day. Never forget the C-word. Communicate. Communicate to your classmate and to the Principal If you find out something in your classmate (spouse)that you do not appreciate. Remember your classmate is also just a student not a
