According to a local who witnessed the incident, the Fulani herdsmen who entered the town killed two women in cold-blood. The youths who couldn't hold back their anger unleashed their venom on the herdsmen and eight of the cattle rustlers were killed

'This is the situation today at Akokwa area of Imo state where herdsmen attacked Ndi Akokwa killing some people.
