WWE Big Van Vader has Less Than 2 Years to Live

WWE legend Big Van Vader has informed his fans that he has less than two years to live.

Leon Allen White, better known by his ring names Big Van Vader, or simply Vader, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and former professional football player.

A super heavyweight wrestler capable of aerial maneuvers such as the moonsault (voted by Wrestling Observer readers as the "Best Wrestling Maneuver" for 1993), tweeted the news to his 32,000 followers on Monday, revealing that doctors diagnosed him with congestive heart failure.

"Told by two heart doctors that my heart is wore out," he wrote. "I have been given less than two years to live. I am only now allowing this as part of my reality."

Prior to joining World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1990, Vader played two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams in 1978 and 1979. He won Super Bowl XIV with the team at the end of his second season, but was forced to retire due to a knee injury.

While in Kuwait during a WWF tour in April 1997, Vader appeared on the television program Good Morning Kuwait along with Mark Calaway, also known as The Undertaker who was WWF World Heavyweight Champion at that time. During the interview, the host asked Calaway and Vader if wrestling was fake As a result, Vader flipped over the table they were sitting at and assaulted the host while using foul language. In December, Vader was fined $164 for this incident.

After about five years in the WCW, Vader jumped over to the World Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment), where he became a star in the ring with his signature move, "the moonsault."

His 30-year-old son, Jesse White, is also a wrestler who performs under the name Jake Carter.

President Buhari now in Morroco

President Muhammadu Buhari is now in Marrakech, Morocco, to participate in the ongoing 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), tagged, COP-22.

The President would participate in the official opening of the plenary of the conference today Nov. 15 where he would deliver his national statement during the High Level Segment of COP 22.

A statement earlier issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said President Buhari would be presenting Presidential address at the conference. The address is expected to highlight, among other key issues, Nigeria’s unwavering commitment to implementing the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and policy actions aimed at tackling climate change through environmental sustainable efforts.

It said that the President would also use the occasion of his speech to rally international support for the clean-up of Ogoniland in the Niger Delta and the resuscitation of the Lake Chad Basin.
The statement said President Buhari would also attend the Africa Day Commemoration at COP 22 with the theme, “Moving from Commitments to Action with Intended Nationally Determined Contributions and African Renewable Energy Initiative.”
The President, according to the statement, will also attend the Summit of African Heads of State on the sidelines of the Climate Change conference. COP 22, will be attended by representatives from 197 countries including world leaders, environment ministers, government officials as well as a wide range of representatives from civil society and the private sector.
The conference is the first meeting of State Parties since the entry into force of the landmark Paris Agreement on Nov. 4, 2016. The legally binding international Agreement on climate change, among others, addresses issues of global warming, including its impact on food security and agriculture.

Economic recession: traditional chief seek for more skills

THE Lagos State Government has churned out another 206 graduates’ under its skill acquisition programme with Chief Jimoh Olukosi, the Baale-elect for Agiliti Community in Ketu axis among the participants. Olukosi, in his 50s, was adjudged one of the best graduates in paint production after the two weeks programme organized by Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, LCDA.

The Baale-elect, after receiving a certificate from the council Sole Administrator, Mr. Abdul Adewale, explained that the reason he embarked on the training was to avoid being caught in the mire of economic recession. He added that the aim was “to be independent and not to wait for gifts from anyone or my children before I can cater for my needs.”

Too few Nigerians are able to obtain enough food to live healthy and productive lives, so it is no surprise Nigeria is ranked the 14th most hungry nation out of 119 countries and 152nd out of 187 on the 2015 UNDP Human Development Index (HDI). With a Global Hunger Index (GHI) score of 32.8, which is only a marginal improvement over the last decade, Nigeria has steadily plunged in its GHI scores since 1990. The severity of hunger in the country remains serious as the nation failed to fulfil its commitment to the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of halving hunger by 2015.

After cursing Obama, Duterte PLEAD FOR FORGIVENESS

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte is expressing regret after his obscenity-laden rant against President Barack Obama prompted the White House to cancel planned bilateral talks between the two leaders.
Duterte, who cursed Obama as a "son of a bitch" Monday, said in a statement through his spokesman that he regretted "it came across as a personal attack on the US President."

Turkey sent tanks and armored vehicles into the Syrian border town of Al-Rai Saturday, effectively opening up a new front in its campaign against ISIS, Turkish state media reported.
The incursion, launched from the Turkish province of Kilis and supported by Syrian rebels, marks a new phase in Operation Euphrates Shield, a campaign to clear the Sunni terror group from the border region, Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency reported, citing military officials.The offensive led to Free Syrian Army rebels, backed by Turkish artillery and warplanes, capturing villages near Al-Rai from ISIS.
Turkey's military said in a statement said that the rebels took ten villages, while UK-based monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said six villages were captured. Turkish warplanes struck four ISIS positions in northern Syria during the fighting late Saturday, Anadolu reported.

Hillary Clinton's report released-FBI

Hillary Clinton repeatedly told the FBI she couldn't recall key details and events related to classified information procedures, according to notes the bureau released Friday of its July interview with the Democratic presidential nominee, along with a report on its investigation into her private email server.
Clinton told the FBI she "could not recall any briefing or training by State related to the retention of federal records or handling classified information," according to the bureau's notes of their interview with Clinton. The documents indicate Clinton told investigators she either does not "recall" or "remember" at least 39 times — often in response to questions about process, potential training or the content of specific emails.
